Who Can Join? 

Membership in the OWCU is open to women, families, businesses and the diverse Ottawa community as well as any corporation, unincorporated association or partnership that is eligible for membership under the provisions of the Act and regulations.

 What Membership Means?

 Members of the OWCU are working together to help themselves and others in our community. Our members are those who:

  •  Seek economic equality and advancement for themselves, and for others in our community on the foundation of social justice
  • Understand the unique circumstances and needs of our members
  • Believe that everyone can be empowered through a credit union that provides equitable access to a wide range of competitive financial services
  • Enjoy the services of a unique, democratic financial cooperative, which they own and control that offers a comfortable, non-threatening environment where they are valued
